A competition introductory seminar (in English), was held on 20.1.2012 (08.30 – 12.00) where the competition task, background and objectives were presented. The seminar was held in the Töölönlahti area, in the Finlandia Hall (in the so-called Helsinki Hall concert hall) [address: Mannerheimintie 13 e, 00100 Helsinki] which borders the competition area.

On display at the seminar was the model of the Töölönlahti area in the scale 1:200 as well as a “virtual model” of the area.
During the seminar competitors may put questions to the competition jury and experts regarding the competition. For those who wished, a tour of the competition area, which is located nearby, was arranged.
